The food is so far not wrong. Simple German cuisine. Ordered schnitzel and it was ok. However, one time it took a relatively long time. 45 minutes is just a little too long for my taste when you're hungry. That's why there is a star deduction. But the location is very nice

In summer a wonderful beer garden, in winter rustic, cozy in the restaurant! Very nice service from the two owners! Always good food and good drinks! You feel good there! On a hike in the Taunus, I always like to come back there! :-)

It's really great that there is a restaurant near us with such delicious food and such a loving atmosphere! Also that you have a heart for people with celiac disease and that the service staff not only always has a smile ready, no you also get helpful recommendations here. The inn is furnished with a love of detail, just very cozy. The dishes are freshly prepared, lovingly arranged and served. All employees are very attentive and friendly! You should bring a little time with you, but everything is fresh and very tasty. I myself suffer from allergies and have never had any problems at this inn. We love to come here! Many thanks to the hosts and the whole team 💜!

Pleasant beer garden with small groups of tables and really very nice staff. Guest room cannot be assessed. Basically, an attempt was made to conjure up a pretty inn with certainly limited resources. The menu is varied. In the evening, however, one or the other dish ran out. It would be nice if the sauce for the dish was really homemade and not out of the can. This definitely reduced the enjoyment of the other dishes.

Here you will always be welcomed in a very friendly way and the food is delicious .. Absolutely to suggest!

Hello! After a short walk on the Feldberg, I got hungry and on the way to the Feldberg I noticed this restaurant. I knew I would stop by there and have a juicy schnitzel. Once there, we were welcomed nicely and accompanied to our table. They ordered 2 mixed salads with yogurt-apple dressing and 2 schnitzel. One with pepper cream sauce, the other only with cream sauce and french fries. It tasted delicious and the location is also very pleasant, right in the middle of the forest ... that's something. A nice little cozy restaurant with a great beer garden, perfect after a hike on the Feldberg or so it is worth the walk there. Great value for money. Mondays Schnitzel day and Tuesday fish day. Simply great!

Nice, comfortably furnished rest stop with friendly and attentive staff. Eat good. Prices still absolutely fine. A welcome contrast to various other restaurants in the Taunus !!

Great place to eat after a Feldberg hike. Consider calling in advance and reserving a table, though. Especially on the weekend. This place is popular.

We waited for a daily menu over 50 minutes and when we asked the waiter what is with our meal (soup and a sausage), he replied rudely that can't we see that there is a lot of people around and that we have ti wait for at least 20 minutes more. Disaster

A nice restaurant perfect to sit after a good hike. Friendly service. You can sit and only order a drink. There is a space outside with tables well separated. I didn't try any of the main dishes. The ice creams were not that good.

Great excursion place under the Great Feldberg with a beautiful, summer terrace. Good coffee and cake, very friendly and brisk service. The menu offers a small selection of home-style, tasty dishes such as schnitzel, roasts, various soups and salads. We were also there for the first Christmas market and also wanted to try the kitchen after a hiking tour, unfortunately it was too late that day, very bad ... Please think about it next time, because there was only a very small selection of hot food at the Christmas market . TOP price-performance ratio, always happy!

Excellent service, so friendly and accommodating. We were told that the wait for our order would, due to the arrival of a very large party of guests, take about 30 minutes, a very accurate estimate as it turned out, the food was well prepared and presented, the amount was more than enough. The staff were unobtrusively helpful, quick and professional. Am looking forward to my next visit.
